"I think it was a fabulous weekend and I had loads of fun - was seriously impressed with the standard of play throughout the entire weekend but especially the last hour - that was just incredible !!"
JD - Umpire
"... thanks also for the priviledge of joining you in your successful attempt! Having read the website I had to chuckle... I was sooo scared of being late and letting you all down in your first shift change, not helped by the fact that Blackheath station was shut when I got there so I ended up getting a black cab in from Lewisham. The cabbie thought I was off to a job interview turned into a real sweetie and turned his meter off early when he knew where I was off to as in his words "it's nice to know there's nice stuff going on in the world" Take care and no doubt see you on court next season (but for only 1 hour please!)"
SR - Witness
"Just wanted to drop you a note to say congratulations again. Also, I wanted to say how much I enjoyed umpiring the games and was really impressed by how friendly everyone was, even when aching and sleep deprived! ... Congratulations again, and hope that the aches and pains don't last too long!"
DS - Umpire
"Congratulations. Thank you for letting me be a part of it.... You were all amazing, all the organising was superb it seemed there was so much going on off the court that the reason for being there, the netball, was something that was going on whilst all the paperwork was being done...I wish I could have stayed longer and seen you all reach your goal."
"P.S. We would like to know, did you eat all those bananas ???"
