Trinity Hospice, based on Clapham Common North Side, was established in 1891 and is the oldest organisation of its kind in the UK.
Multicultural and multi-denominational, Trinity serves one of the largest populations of any hospice in the country and helps over 2,000 patients with advanced illnesses every year.
- Trinity provide specialist care for people in their own homes (and provide in-patient services for those whose needs cannot be met at home)
- Trinity provide day care services at the hospice
- They provide practical advice, and emotional and spiritual support for patients and their families
- Trinity provide education and training in specialist palliative care for health and social care professionals
This year Trinity Hospice must raise £7.4 million, only 34% of which comes from the NHS.
